VTT Funds

If you wish to direct your donation to a particular area of interest VTT have several established funds.

Alumni Fund

The alumni fund was established to support alumni engagement opportunities. VTT needs your help to create these meaningful experiences and to help build lifelong relationships with its alumni!

Annual Giving Fund

Our annual campaign raises money for a particular cause. This year our focus was tuition assistance; making access to a Jewish education possible for all community children.

Area of Greatest Need

Gifts donated to this fund are unrestricted and will be used where the need is greatest.

Building Fund

Thanks to the extraordinary support and leadership of Gordon and Leslie Diamond Family, and the generosity of other donors, VTT has an exceptional facility purpose built for 21st century learning. We are continue to collect funds because money is needed to pay bills, without it VTT will be forced to pay large amounts in annual interest.

Family Fund

The Family Fund allows our less fortunate families to fully participate in school life and Jewish traditions by providing necessities such as uniforms, school supplies, winter attire, medical assistance, hot lunch and monthly Shabbat dinners.

Learning Commons Fund

Gifts made to the VTT Learning Commons aid in acquiring a variety of new library resources for our students, while also supporting innovative initiatives occurring in Makerspace.

Mitzvah of Valuing Philanthropy

Each year the grade 7 students fundraise for their chosen mitzvah and select an agency that they wish to support. The majority of fundraising comes from students themselves, but they are also encouraged to fundraise through family and friends.

Strathcona Fund

Each year our grade 7 students go on a field trip to Strathcona Provincial Park, an outdoor learning centre where they are taught self-awareness, leadership skills and confidence. Donations to this fund help cover the cost of the programme.

PAC Fund

The Parent Action Chavurah (PAC) mission is to enhance the overall VTT community. They work closely with VTT leadership team to provide opportunities for families to connect outside of school hours.

Performing Arts & Band Fund

Students of all ages at VTT enjoy a variety of art, drama and music programs. Each Spring the Drama department produce a sell-out musical, performed at the JCC's Norman and Annette Rothstein Theatre.
