A GAME CHANGING LUNCH PROGRAM STARTING IN 2026-27
A better lunch plan--for parents and students!
We are excited to share that beginning in the 2026–27 school year, VTT will launch a bold universal daily lunch program. This initiative will ease the load on families, nourish every student, and create an inclusive mealtime experience that will strengthen our VTT community.
We are proud to partner with Aramark Canada to offer a kosher lunch each day for every child from Rishonim to Grade 7. The approximate cost for a buffet-style, all you can eat kosher lunch program featuring daily hot entrées, plus a salad, soup, and sandwich bar, will be $5.35/day. This program will be embedded in our tuition. To support families during the transition, VTT is subsidizing a portion of the actual cost, resulting in an annual levy for the 2026-27 school year of $950 per child or $95/month.
A universal lunch program allows us to fully realize the vision behind our kitchen and dining hall: to nourish all students together, every day, in a way that is inclusive, dignified, and aligned with our commitment to healthy living, Jewish life, and community.
A universal program also allows VTT to deliver a higher-quality experience at a more accessible and predictable price point.
